The Tories could drop all this "strong n stable" stuff and just put up posters of Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnell.
Have Labour in Orpington got the National Party Exec's requirement of pictures of Che Guevara, Castro and Jeremy Corbyn up on the wall FHB?
We had 3 from Momentum, and they were easily handled by the traditional Labour who run Orpington. One has stopped coming, one has rejoined the sensible wing and the other sits and sulks, throwing in the occasional whinge. Similarly, I joined the Labour Party in 1987 in Sydenham to help get rid of Militant, only to find there weren't any get get rid of! Jim Dowd was one of the "A-Team" drinkers then, and to be fair, he was always one of the first to put his hand in his pocket.
The Lib-Dems 1p on the basic rate of income tax to fund the NHS is more honest than John McDonnell's tax-the-rich, which won't raise very much. Especially since Jeremy **** warned on the Andrew Marr show that funding to all the public services including the NHS could well be hit by Brexit.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out in France. He won by a landslide but still doesn't seem too popular - it was more a situation of anything but the traditional parties and Le Pen.
I think the final choice in France was a bit like Farage against Corbyn and you couldn't vote for them both to lose
Corbyn is 'Monsieur Zen' Posted at7:27 In other Labour news, Jeremy Corbyn has suggested he will remain Labour leader whatever the result on 8 June. Speaking to Buzzfeed while out campaigning in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire on Monday, he said: "I was elected leader of this party and I’ll stay leader of this party." He also coined a new moniker, quipping in response to criticism of his leadership that "Monsieur Zen is fine."
Like Arthur Scargill, who started with a small house and a big union, and ended up with a big house and a small union.
Labour expels three members over attempt to unseat Jeremy Hunt Kate Townsend, Steve Williams and Robert Park ousted over cross-party alliance bid to unseat Hunt and replace him with a GP https://www.theguardian.com/politic...est-surrey-members-attempt-unseat-jeremy-hunt ?!?
Corbyn sees himself as the new Messiah, going into the temple, overturning the tables of the rich moneylenders. He could potentially end Labour as a political force, instead becoming aprotest party,, like the Greens.
The Conservatives' battlebus doesn't even mention the Conservative Party! THERESA MAY- Strong and stable leadership emblazoned on the side, shows they have one tactic aka Jeremy Corbyn, who is their greatest asset (well maybe Diane Abott a close second). You can see why so many Conservatives paid their £3 and voted for him.
Seems as if Traditional Labour have been well and truly shafted by Momentum and unscrupulous Tories.... isn't it time to send for Tony Blair?
The day of enlightenment is upon us. The Labour manifesto! For days, weeks even, the Corbyn-friendly MP's who are publicly representing the Labour Party have been telling interviewers to "wait until the manifesto comes out, that will explain it all". I predict that it will provide even more embarrassment for Labour and amusement for everyone else.
