Fine looking dog, mate. Get yourself a whistle ASAP, they're unbelievably responsive to them. And pointing, it's inbred in them to understand. I had a springer, had to get him it to sleep last year. Cancer. Went downhill rapidly, one of the worst things I've ever had to do. Also get some insurance cover and keep it up. Vets take the piss.

Not at all... Spaniels are also very intelligent dogs and make great pets..

Yeh. Great pets.

I once got in the middle of a domestic between a cousin and his missus. She screamed at him, "you love those dogs more than you love me"!! He screamed back "I love those pheasants more than I love you, and I shoot those ****ers".

I love cocker spaniels <laugh><laugh>

Cheers mate..Our lass's mam had a cocker when we first met and I absolutely loved him and walked him everywhere.. I have an oil painting of him in my passage that my mam painted for me..This was probably the biggest factor in choosing this breed..

They're brilliant dogs mate. You'll probably know they're pretty bad for pulling on the lead, get yourself one of the nose nozzles, a few tugs and they soon learn. The also love the dene if you've got one near and can smell pheasants from 50 yards and nothing will stop them from going for them.

(I dropped my phone in a cup of hot chocolate last week and lost me contacts.)

And I don't want to hear about your back passage. <ok>

Best day ever.

I remember when I was a kid a mate of mine ran through some thorn bushes and it ripped his skin to shreds...It still makes me cringe thinking about it..

I fell off my bike as a kid wearing just shorts and trainers in the summer and I landed in the biggest load of nettles imaginable. I'd rather die than do that again.
