Well, Northants was spot on.
Course was in excellent condition, greens very slick and the fairways nicely cut.
Few holes where you need to position your ball or you are ****ed for the second shot and a couple of blind holes where you have to trust the markers.
They played the Hampshire Hog Tournament last week so we knew it would be in goon condition.
£75 a round for guests so pleased i got a free invitation as i think that is a bit steep to play there, certainly better courses around here for less than that.
Tip top halfway hut where they serve you all kinds of fresh grub at very reasonable prices.
****ers couldn't do us a full English so we went to the Harvester near the M3 junction and had an all you can eat for £6.50, set the day up just right.
members don't really mix with each other so its not a very welcoming club, they tend to stay in their own little clicks, snobby ****ers.
All in all a really good days golfing, would certainly recommend it if you can get an invite or you don't mind shelling out for what i think are over priced green fees.
The board is like a library without Comm, like him or loathe him he's a fire starter.
In a ****ed up way I kind of want these sorts of people to fall, just to teach them a lesson in the value of their own lives. It wouldn't be a lesson that would stay with them for long though.

Cheers Crumble, thanks for the update.****ing £75, rip off twats. When i played Camberley Heath I payed £30 and that was because I was with a club member. Must admit, in golfing terms, it was worth it but i would not pay much more for the privilege of a game of golf. Love playing Southwood; greens are some of the best around here. Haven't played since December 2015 due to a shoulder problem but hopefully playing Rookwood (cracking course) in a couple of weeks time - need to get to the range first.

I don't actually want to see the poor bastards getting splattered, I just find people who treat their own lives so carelessly annoying. I'd be beyond pissed off if my kids did anything like that and when they've got kids themselves it's even worse.
I'm specifically talking about the ones who dangle off crazy heights just for the thrill, free running can be taken too far I guess but that's more bad luck when it goes wrong. The guy in the clip you posted is just asking for it.

Played the wood yesterday and its dried out quite nicely. Hollow tined the greens so they are poor at the minute, grass is long and surface is bubbly, but it should pay dividends in a couple of weeks, £24 a round there now as well?
I paid £700 for a season ticket beginning of April and have played there 7 times this month alone, I worked it out that by the end of the year I pay about £6 a round so worth it for me.
Good luck at Rookwood, not played there.
