I mean it's just a throwaway gag but as someone who likes the show I can see the resemblance and it tickles me a little.

Getting this advert quite a bit, there are loads of pics in the slideshow and this is one of the few you could post on here. Sat and stared at it for a couple of cycles. Got no idea what I'd been googling to generate it, honest.

Craig Charles' soul and Funk Club was bang on, the man is a rock star! Bloody Corrie actors though, ****ing everywhere! Enjoyed meeting Ian Puleston-Davies about his appearance in I'm Alan Partridge though.

Going on holiday is great.

But coming home and being back in the local surrounded by your mates is better.

Not much in life beats that.

Was only away for one night, **** me mates, most of them live away now anyway<laugh> Glad to be back for a proper cup of tea. Brought our own teabags but with every water company treating their water differently the cuppa's just didn't taste right. Back home now with Northumbrian water in my cup of tea and it's really special. Got cats all over me too. Nowt like getting home to your pets.

It's not the so-called big things in life that count.

It really is the small things in life that keeps us grounded.

The things that matter.

The thing that cheers me up no end is driving up the M6 and seeing the sign The Lakes then I know I am home then the views appear and you think get in.

I know what you mean mate.

I feel the same way when I see Blunham on the A1 and Jn13 on the M1.

American Horror Story has been dire for four series' but the new one is actually pretty good. Didn't expect it to be anything other than awful but it's a return to form.
