Memory lane, saw a lot of these bands and many more in the NE around this period late 60,s for me it was the zenith of live entertainment, very poor exposure in the media for the "underground" and still affordable to go out regularly and see top class acts up close and personal, Bay Hotel, Cellar. Uni Dances, Locarno, Gogo's, and many more top venues for live entertainment . Spoilt for choice, great times indeed . <ok><bubbly>

And another thing "Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids" portrayed live band "Herbie and the Heartbeats" in "American Graffiti", not many people know that as someone would say. Not certain it was the same flash kid mind, as there were a few about at the time. <laugh>

Saw them at the Bay I think, Tony McPhee main man, although they also went on tour with John Lee Hooker and it might have been then, I bought the album at the time, the one with the WWI artwork on it, great sleeve, still have it somewhere, I will dig it out and have a listen. Never went to any gigs at Dunelm, but I knew a few lads from Houghton who mentioned going, transport was the problem for me at that time. <ok>

<laugh> this is me. I need to hit the gym! Pity I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm in there!

From what I understand the idea is to use the machines as an obstacle course, so you have to run around the gym jumping over weights and vaulting treadmills etc. Best way to stay fit.

That's what I do. I was shouted at last night though.

No idea why. Think the guy was just jealous :)

Great isn't it, you get some nice compliments too, one guy shouted that I had special knees after I jumped over him.

Had a bit of banter with the receptionist on my way out too, he was pretending to be angry and was saying to **** off and don't come back, what a kidder.

Whenever I see a headline about United releasing Ibrahimovic it sounds less like a player being let go and more like "release the hounds".

Dreams can be annoying, this morning I was just about to have sex with a naked uni age version of Yvonne Strahovski when I woke up, thanks for that brain. I also, at about 4am, sat bolt upright in bed, pulled the duvet off my wife, looked at her and said "that's confusing" and went back to sleep.

Here's Yvonne btw, nice lady.
