This evolution of the political scenario in the UK has been a very gradual almost imperceptible process.
It is one that can not be noticed by the young, as it needs the passage of time to enable it to be noticed.
However, being well educated is not necessarily the be-all-and-end-all that many would have us believe.
Having a degree in Yogurt-Knitting, does not fit a person for leadership, but having a degree of good, old-fashioned, common sense, will go a long way to helping anybody function satisfactorily in a leadership role.
Some of the things that are necessary for a country to morph into an extremist, left-wing idealogical state are as follows:
1. Healthcare – control healthcare and you control the people.
2. Poverty – Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you provide everything for them to live.
3. Debt – Increase the debt level to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes and this will produce more poverty.
4. Gun control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from government. That way you are able to create a police state. (Not relevant in the UK ?)
5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.
6. Education – Take control of what people read and listen to and take control or what children learn in school.
7. Religion – Remove belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in only the government knowing what is best for the people.
8. Class warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class.
These are not my words, but for the most part they make sense, from a left-wing standpoint. These are the eight levels of controls by Saul Alinsky, which will transform a nation through socialism into communism.
One or two of the above are already nearing completion, and our nation is well on its way to winning its race to the bottom
