There's one supply feeding the steelworks operating at 275kv , a two circuit overhead line ,this when I worked for NGrid was always classed as vulnerable should a fault occur on one circuit or as can happen the two then there is no other feed in sufficient enough to power the plant.Sonits no suprise to me in reading that predicted news.

Is it possible that the electric supply to both plants could make them unviable to continue long term and used as a reason to kill off major steel making in those areas in UK altogether ? The gov and thier masters are trying to ruin uk asap after all ?

It was always my understanding that EAF manufactured steel was inferior in quality.

The UK Government should have nationalised Port Talbot and maintained virgin steel manufacture.

100% mate. Boys i know worked portalbot and steel stockholders all said chinese steel is inferior crap comparedd to what our steel works turned out for donkeys years !
Still bugs me how we have coal and steel shipped all the way from abroad when there's more than enough ore n coal here ! The electric green bollox must be a scam ? And if it's so cheap to do it then hit them with tariffs to help our people and industry instead of theirs ! We've been lead by shysters and morons for so long that we can see the decline on many levels in UK at speed and while others pockets not in our interests are lined then it ain't gonna stop till were bankrupt and become the cheap labour they've got uk competing against !

There's millions to be spent on the Grid with new lines ,connections etc and the line feeding the steel works was upgraded about 10 years ago, there is also a 132kv line feeding the works but that's also dependant on the Grid being robust enough to supply it's needs.I truly believe globalists are running the show with ours and many other government just a front , otherwise why would for example a British Government be party to weakening our armed forces to the extent that it becomes inadequate to defend these islands let alone overseas. No steel manufacturing which allows our perceived enemies the upper hand. Its truly worrying what the future holds for my kids, and yours.
