The west used to fight their battles on foreign shores. Now the middle East and Africans fight theirs in western countries !

I have to admit I have an EV car, and the only reason I have one is not environmental it’s to do with company car tax BIK. I was going to upgrade my Lexus but the BIK was 36%, I want to pay less tax not more. So first looked at plug in hybrid, but looked at electric as it was only 1% BIK saving me a fortune every month.
Now would I recommend an EVA? My car is great, but, if I was spending my own money then I wouldn’t get one.

I was reading before I had my car about EVA anxiety, charging the car, I can tell you know it’s real, currently the infrastructure is piss poor, you can rock up at a charge point ant they do t work. I have around 10 aps for charge points and if you get no signal you can’t use the bloody thing.

I’m on holiday down in Looe at the moment and, my car is sat at home as there are very little charge points here. Funny one is the main car park has charge points look new and at least two of them are out of order and there slow chargers.

<whistle>:p:D

How does one charge their car up over night if they can't even park outside their own homes?
Luck enough for me I have a charge point on my drive, but if you don’t have a drive then your basically screwed. You will need to use network charge points at anything from 60 to 90p per kW/hr For a comparison in mileage cost if I charge at home it works out at around 8p per mile. Now if you have to use the network, you are paying up to 21p per mile. I did see a BBC program that they were putting charge points in pavements now, but it takes years to get approval.

There's two!
At Tesco's
Tesco’s one of the few with charge points, they use Pod Point, I have this one at home. Mc Donald’s are very good use them a lot. I see now they have charge points outside the stadium, think they are low kW rating probably 22kW. There is a good one over in the Morgan retail, I used that when I came down these are normally around 50kW and fast charging.

Even if you don't watch all of this, check out what Jordan Peterson has to say about psychopaths and the current madness in society, from 19:40... very, very interesting and makes sense.
