I may have mentioned previously I had a ticket when I was parked outside the Lotus in the Marina (superb Thai restaurant btw). Very quiet road, completely empty but got snapped at 8pm. Disagraceful.

Got it rescinded as the clowns sent me the final notice thingy and hadn't sent the original parking notice! And then after it was all settled they sent me the original notice <laugh>

This was on Channel 4's 30th(?) anniversary remake of Friday Night Live. It was absolute garbage and I loved it back in the day. The only bit I liked was Harry Enfield doing his Stavros. I'm surprised he was allowed to do "an accent" in these "enlightened" days.

Yet another example of how standards have sunk.
