Fascinating video. I'm not exactly sure why they won't sign the petition to take down Muhammad statues (although there shouldn't be any of him as it's not allowed in Islam I think).
Maybe it's that they don't fear any reprisals from a white Christian society, whereas if hypothetically they pulled down a statue of Muhammad, the Islamic world would go into meltdown. You'd see Iran, Pakistan etc all burning American flags. The fear of terrorist revenge attacks would obviously be an issue.
Whilst it shouldn't matter about the religion or race of who owned slaves, we all know how Islamic extremists react to anything they deem to be derogatory to their religion.
I'll say stuff to people I don't really care too much about, but if I'm talking to my wife and think she'll go ballistic if I say a certain thing - I'll just shut up.

Then again they could all just be hypocrites.

They're probably worried the mad mullers will send out a fatwa t to kill them like that Mr je suis Charlie guy !

Whether it's right or wrong - we know what could happen in the Islamic world - and that is a factor. I'm not sure it's like some of the comments on the youtube page are saying that it's all about hating the US and white people.
