There's a ton of them here. It's common to see up to six or seven at a time when it's nesting season. Magnificent birds.
I haven't seen one make a kill but I did see a falcon on a pigeon right next to a busy main road while a magpie hopped about excitedly waiting for scraps!
This kite must have hit the pigeon like a bullet. Seed from the pidgeons crop all over, head missing, wing missing and feathers all over the place.
