I guess that someone has to try and take the lead in raising prices - I’m assuming that others will (attempt to) follow. Domestic steel making in Europe is difficult given the cost of labour and lack of locally mined of raw materials. I fear for the industry’s long term future
No wonder the UK Manufacturing Sector is under so much competitive pressure. Lucky that Port Talbot’s Blast Furnaces are going so that we can have so-called Green Steel, produced by an Electric Arc Furnace ….
So many folks laid low this Christmas with this damn virus. My brother and family down with it.Doctor told him last Friday that if it had been labelled COVID we would've been in lockdown again!!
