My Wife was talking to a lady who had crossed the bridge at Loughor to walk her dog on the Loughor side.
She told my wife she was scared to walk her dog on the Bynea coastal path, as some people had been attacked and attempts made to steal their dogs. ............ She felt safe on the Loughor side, as it was more populated by people and their dogs,....................who are these people who are stealing dogs? Are they these bloody so called travellers or Gypos ?............ Sooner that hard labour was brought back as punishment in this country the better.
To think you can't even walk your dog these days is bloody disgusting........These sods should be dumped in the Estuary.
Sorry to say but the advice atm is keep to main tracks , go in pairs and keep the dog on a lead , and if you feel safe to do so, carry a can of https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NQ4AKUC/?tag=not606-21
Pepper spray use is illegal in the UK but me I'd argue the toss after

Our dog was a rescue from Greyhound Rescue Wales. They believe she was a travellers dog. She had some burn marks on her side and was so thin when got her that people would stare at us when we walked her. Now she is my wife's baby and the vet says she is slightly overweight at 20kg and spoiled rotten
Now these are the dogs that people should be adopting .<applause>

Reading on Wales on line today that 2 blokes tried to steal a 16 week old Puppy from a guy who was walking his dog on that Bynea coastal path, one of them picked up the Pup and told the fellow " don't try and take him back, or I'll stab you." ...... this time they met their match, and the dog owner took them on and managed to wrestle his dog away from them....................It must be remembered that the Dog owner was a fit younger man,who had also done a little boxing..... older, or handicapped people would have not had a chance..
So if you walk in quiet places don't go alone. ............. Police would welcome any information.....these scum need to be caught

@Victor here's a link to a show over here you'd love. The sanctuary is about 40 minutes away - they have all sorts of animals and it's harder to get a dog from there than it is to get a compliment from and English Rugby fan. They regularly go to Florida and Israel to rescue dogs - bring back about 10 each time. My daughter who's in laws school was supposed to volunteer with their legal group last year - but Covid. Just to understand how crazy my daughters are - we have a bunch of squirrels that we feed outside our back door - one of them had obviously been attacked by some other animal and his leg started to swell. The girls caught him in a trap and took him to the wild life rescue and dropped a $100 for his care - they're bringing him home as soon as he's well enough - a bloody squirrel! They don't have enough with two cats one dog one lizard and three bloody horses!

I am against any type of cruelty or neglect to any Annimal , and I love watching all types of Annimal films on T.V.
I have 40 films of the "Dog Rescuers" recorded.. .....I even watch the American ones.
You seem to have very kind and responsible Daughters, that love Annimals, and you should be proud of them.
To think that they took a Squirrel in and paid money for his treatment, they probably saw, not only a Squirrel, but a little life that needed help............Really well done to them.
Because of my age, I only have a couple of Doves, and a Rescue dog, spoilt rotten by the wife......if I was younger, I would have at least 3 rescue dogs, along with something else that needed .help
I was born on the side of a mountain in Pontarddulais, I have a feeling you may know the area..
Anyway. The best of luck.

All our animals are from Gonsal Farm RSPCA Vic. 6 and counting. Two little b&w cats have since bitten the dust, our first dog (I’ll see if I still have a photo n post) died in Aug 2012 aged 16&1/4. We still have Emily the staffy (12 in May) Steve the big cat (14 in August) and little cat 2 (4). Wouldn’t be without my animals. Same as you n Jax mate <ok>

Indeed lived first couple of years up the council and my dad would take me up the mountain - think he used to pick berries - used to spend a lot of time running around the Bont football pitch as my dad played there - cards mostly - but a bit off football!
