Short video of Gelson talking about his emotional dilemma following Henry's suspension

Shame about Henry. His problem is he is a bit old fashioned and likes to call modern footballers out on all their bullshit. They won't accept that, they'll just down tools and go see the board to get you sacked (as they did in this case). I particularly liked this clip:

Trying to teach the young man some basic manners.

Feel sorry for the young fella. Where was his Assistant Chair Mover? "You're getting sacked in the morning".

Amazingly a few people said Henry should not have humiliated the young lad. We really have turned young people into a bunch of snowflakes. They find that humiliating?

I tell kids all the time to tuck in chairs or pick up rubbish.

And people wonder why behaviour in society has deteriorated.

Well my parents, teachers, everyone who formed part of my upbringing always taught me the basics of good manners. Please, thank you, tuck a chair in, wait until someones finished speaking before you speak, respect your elders, hold a door open for someone etc etc. Yeah its a long list and I might have thought at times "Geez you're stickler" but I have to say now when I look around I'm glad they did.

I'm quite open that I'm an atheist and think all religion is a load of old cobblers. What I will say though is I believe religion came about as a way of installing some order in the world. It helped us make the step from savages to being civilised. Becoming civilised has helped us enormously to become disciplined and evolve. The way things are going with regard to manners etc, we will need religion again in 50 years!

    **** me I'm getting old.
