Elmo was responsible for two of the goals apparently

Why did you dislike my post PLT? Do you enjoy the musicality of the vuvuzelas?

Did Elmo substitute for Fathi at RB? Did Gedo get any playing time off the bench? Looks like Egypt's World Cup dreams are shattered. Sad really...the country has gone through hell. It would have been great to see them make it.

KingFut says that he came on before HT and played at RB while Fathi went in the middle. Looks like Gedo was unused

I wouldn't want them in English football but I don't mind the Africans using them at all. I think everyone just copies off each other saying how annoying they are. There's too many boring, cliched opinions constantly being recycled in football.

Shame Gedo didn't get on, he could have used some game time.

You probably didn't watch the match. I was sick of the ****ing noise by halftime.

They were really irritating, I had to turn the sound down.

I don't your refreshingly non-cliched opinion of the vuvuzela would last 90 minutes sitting next to someone blowing the 'musical' instrument.:wink:

There is a reason everyone finds vevezuelas annoying.

Not just because everyone does, because they truly are ****ing annoying.

I guess you (PLT) wouldn't get annoyed about a baby on the seat next to you crying non stop on a 12 hour flight, because it would be a cliche, on the grounds that everyone else in the world would be tearing their hair out?

It will be 6-1 FT and AET, Egypt to win 53-52 on penalties. 75 penalties to be saved.

Write that one down, it's written in the stars.

He does have a point - at times it does seem to me as if you rail against the prevailing opinion for the sake of it.

Let's face it - vuvuzelas ARE ****ing annoying, as are those ****ing trumpeters. Just because most people agree, it doesn't mean it's wrong.

Contrary to dumb and dumber the sound a vuvuzela makes has to be the most annoying sound ever. During the world cup I watched more than one game on mute as I could not take listening to them.

Nah, I don't mind them. Id rather listen to them than the England Band or to try and watch a game after some twat's let a flare off.
