I agree, I can't remember the last time Simmo even had a shot inside the box. And not working hard, there was a time in the first half when he lost the ball and then chased around for about 30 seconds before they put it into touch around the edge of the area because of his hard work. Proschwitz just wanders around, I haven't seen anything in him to make me think he'll come good.

defo, Simmo works hard whatever & holds the ball up well.. but this kid Gedo is a proper striker, powerful header of a ball (as we already know), instincive, quick and positive. Crossing my fingers big time, I had a good feeling about him and it might come true..

just think - Gedo, Aluko, Fryatt - all different abilities and styles too.. and I'd keep Simmo BTW

I have posted these thoughts elsewhere without any comments coming back, but how do you think Simpson would perform in CM? He can tackle, pass, hold up the play to bring in others, is strong and wiry on the ball and can head as well : we would also have the possibility of him coming onto the ball ie in front of him rather than back to goal?

    Don't disappoint me Proschwitz :(

I would like to try something like....

    Stockdale

    Chester, Hobbs, McShane

    Elmo, Quinn, Meyler, Brady
    Koren
    Gedo Proschwitz

Doesn't seem like Nick will get his run of league games from start though. And it's kind of a too crucial moment of the season to test something new really.

I'd go with that Febbos, but I suspect we will see a 4-4-2 as Charlton will be looking to get at us from the off. I also expect Gedo to start along with Proschwitz.
