He wouldn't like that. Although ... "It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence." Blame Gandhi for that one ... a licence for any frustrated Rangers' loonies?
Fellow Celts, everybody connected to Rangers wants us all to believe it was the scoundrel Whyte who was to blame for nearly all the wrongs at Rangers. However the previous board and David Murray are to blame for the most of the foul deeds. These board members were still in place after Craig Whyte's infamous purchase. He chased some of them like Murray (Paul) Bains and former legend Greig. The later two were recipients of EBT. Unfortunately for Rangers and the administrators the fraud and misconduct was not confined to Whyte and that is bad news for Rangers.
Wonder what's holding up the tribunal's ruling on 'the big tax case' - can we expect to hear it any time soon? If it goes against them it would be interesting to see investigations into all who benefited from the EBTs, alongside discovering the facts about double contracts etc. It may then be time for any criticism of Murray etc., to take full flight?
There's that. Then there's the SPL investigation and the police investigation and didn't the FSA launch an investigation too? Any others?
Aren't most of these other investigations on hold until the result of the big tax case ruling is announced, as this will help determine the scope of them?
I would not expect the SPL or the Police investigation to uncover anything interesting. More likely they will cover up. Even if and it is a very big IF the big tax case doesn't hold up. Mr Murray and his board have not been all clean. I don't think Whyte has ran up debts of £59m in his year.
