The Council now say they've spoken to Humberside Police and they did not give any advice to the SMC in relation to closing the gate for stadium security. It's a ****ing farce.
I hope the terrorists don't try to smuggle a bomb in by hiding it in the gypo's 'oss. They seem to get in there, gate or no gate.
How many times do the Allams have to **** some people over the kitchen table before some people get what's happening to them? Although I do understand some like it that way.
I would have thought having a closed gate on the walkway poses a higher risk to public safety than having the walkway open Should there be any kind of “incident” in the vicinity of the park that requires an evacuation then having a potential escape route closed is ludicrous. They’re ****s by the way.
How long before someone decides to climb it, rather than go back to Argyle Street and walk round, then falls and injures themselves? If it stays shut during Hull Fair, it'll happen within the week.
That is pretty much a given. There are sharp spikes on the top of that fence. If someone does decide to climb it and severs an artery, will Ehab be prosecuted? If I was the prosecution, I'd press for manslaughter. Take the fence down Ehab. Oh and sort yourself out you fool.
It would be the ultimate win for the Allams. They get rid of the problematic SMC lease, having milked anything worthwhile from it and taken it to a point of unavoidable and unwanted dilapidation costs. They would lumber the council with the lease (pretty much what you said), or, as it would seem, they might lumber themselves with it. They could finally sell without the hindrance of the SMC commitment and, as a Brucey Bonus, they would list one big USP to their deal - a thick as **** council stuck with a sports stadium they really can't afford to keep - even Del Boy could swing that one... Revenge would be sweet and they would laugh all the way to the bank. So, what was Plan B?
Any comments from any actual elected Councillors? You know, the ones you lot vote for to represent you?? Any of them prepared to step up and put a stop to all this nonsense?
The rent paid by Hull City Tigers Limited and Hull FC doesn't cover the costs of running the SMC. Hull City Tigers Limited only has user rights with the SMC not Hull City Council. If the lease becomes void Hull City Tigers Limited will have to negotiate a new tenancy with Hull City Council, face a potential huge hike in rent, they'd lose a substantial part of the FA Academy funding if they are thrown out of the Airco Arena and Hull City Tigers Ltd would have to write off millions of pounds the club lent to the SMC. They may be stupid in some things but not when it comes to money. the last thing they want at the minute is having to negotiate a new tenancy agreement with a hostile council. I could be wrong but I doubt it.
To be fair to the club (yeah I know...hear me out!) they didn't say, originally anyway, that Humbs Police gave them advice. They said someone like North East Counter Terrorist Unit did
I'm sure when aa offered the smc before you said the council didn't want it and it would be good for the Allams to get rid? Sorry if you didn't say that.
