I wonder what would have to happen for certain people to criticize the Allams. I'm no fan of HCC btw but everyone can surely see this was a ****'s trick.
I think there are two or three on here who feel they are too far in to go back now. I feel sorry for them really. It's a sad state to be in and if it were me I'd just hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. Some people don't seem able to do that.
This. I was one of the 1700 at BP under the last protest. This is different, admission income don’t make a craps worth of difference as we probably wouldn’t have memebership tripe in the first place. No crooked owner will stop me going to the team I support.
This is also further prove the whole Tigers City bollocks was at the start to have a go at the council, obviously now it’s to spite the fans also.
That's what I don't get. People will defend them no matter what. I try and look at each incident logically (I wish Ehab did) and come to an opinion. I am not blinded by hatred of them, and I am not going to defend them for the sake of it. I don't get why people will defend them no matter what it doesn't make sense. You wouldn't do it in normal life, so why do it for the Allams.
The point is that I think everyone knows gate, concession and merchandising receipts are a small part of overall revenue for the last few years (probably a new Lambo a year's worth to put it in Enob terms however). It will become more material the less TV money we have. But it's a matter of principal for those who choose to stay away and not put a penny in those ****s pockets. Your principal of no crooked **** keeping you away from supporting your team is another equally valid principal. A sad pathetic state the Allams have now put the club in. I can't wait for the end of next season to come, no matter which division we're in.
Is the Allam's masterplan to force the Council to re-take control of the stadium by public demand ? And then play home games elsewhere...
The stadium is costing Hull City £6 million a year in rent and loans. It wouldn't surprise me if Ehab wanted rid before the Premier League money runs out. A sensible person would ring up the Council and discuss how that could be done in a way that benefits everybody. However, sense and the Allams don't seem to go together very well.
Plus the idea of a sensible discussion with the council is never going to happen in any case. Both sides are equally at fault in that.
What the Allams fail to understand is that fans pay probably a large part of their income on following city. Over 60 years I have been supporting and following City I shudder to think how much money I have spend, and many others have been the same. That is the reason people like me care about the past, because we put into the club when it was on it's downers money they badly needed, and without that today we wouldn't have a club for the Allam to rape and blunder and make money out of today. That is why it hurts so much.
The council would get the stadium as they would have to agree to any transfer of the lease by the administrator or liquidator. Bit risky for the Allams because if there was anything iffy they could get disqualified as company directors.
One day it will end, the only question is how much damage will be done before it does. The signs are not looking good, as you rightly say. We have a bully on one side and a weak Council leader on the other.
The SMC never made those losses under any previous owner, I strongly suspect the SMC is been run at a loss to prevent people from taking it over. A while ago they offered to sell it for £1 with a huge debt attached, presumably to make the point that they're heroes for running it at their own personal cost and don't deserve the stick they get. Look at how Hull City is been run and compare it to the SMC, it doesn't add up, essentially they've made the SMC so worthless that no one will take it off them, that free's them up to do whatever they like with the stadium without any repercussions.
This is based on absolutely nothing. No I'm not saying they're wonderful or that they're not. Yes there's some weird dinosaurs at the council, but you're making out like they're guilty of the same kind of sutbbornness the Allams are which is just completely made up.
SMC is £10m in debt (I assume to the Allams) I'm expecting the Hull City debt to be repaid by the end of this season (barring a January spending spree ) maybe even with a surplus. SMC goes into admin. Allams walk away with the club and unleash revenge on supporters that Captain Bligh would have been proud of
