I did, which bit do you mean? I saw AA constantly bashing the council, but we both know that's not an accurate version of events. Not that I am saying AA is totally in the wrong but none of us actually know what went on between AA and the council.
We know it's not accurate but then none of us know what went on!!!! How do we know it's not an accurate version of events?
If you can't be bothered to read the minutesthread for yourself and see what started it all, my post should help you. If you want me to explain it all to you, I'm not going to. Read it and make a comment. In fact I had a pm from someone saying no ones bothered to comment on what I put
When we were young we'd most likely have been that kid. It was always gping to happen (kids climbing over). Hope the Allams are happy now.; just one more **** up for them, except for the lad its rather more serious than 'just' football. Time for the council, fans and public to run the ****s out of town
We don't, but let's not argue over having a very similar opinion. I actually agree with most of your points on the notes maybe not this one though. I personally think it was probably a clash of personalities, AA clearly just wants his own way and expects it(as do a lot of successful people). I imagine the council may have seen a chance to put him in his place. The issue is they are having huge effects on us as fans, whoever is to blame. I tell you what would solve it.... Fan ownership.
Jesus H - this ****ing thread is dying on it's arse, bugger all new for pages ....... can't we put it out of its misery, ffs.
No, lots of stuff is there own fault and there own doing!! This isn't....whether the gate should be there or not, the kid climbed all by him self and made his own choice to do it! It's nobody's fault but his own!
Yeah people say that a lot, but specific things never actually are. There's always an excuse. This is a gate that they were told not to erect because it's a path used by the public, one which people would inevitably attempt to circumvent and which would result in an accident before very long. It's no surprise at all that that's exactly what's happened. But yeah let's focus on attacking their latest victim like always.
I've read the whole thread , 31 pages so far , I only asked what your point was , you know so maybe we could have a discussion about it if you think it was worth discussing as you seemed to imply in your earlier post You wonder why some people don't bother engaging with you ?
I'm not attacking anyone, I'm only stating that it's the daft kids own fault..... Why does everyone in this day and age always look for someone to blame when they make stupid choices and get hurt! Yes the gate shouldn't be there but it is, it's obvious its there...its not creeped up on him and hurt him, the stupid kid made a choice himself to climb over it and he's hurt himself! That is his own fault nobody elses! No doubt he will get handsomely compensated for his own stupidity which is what is wrong with the world these days! We reward people for being stupid rather then saying you know what, you've been a tool and done something you knew you shouldn't have done
Oh and as you say...there is always an excuse, the lad will have a number of excuses as to why he tried to climb over a fence he knew he shouldn't be climbing and could see had stuff that could hurt him on it. He will probably have lots of excuses why it isn't his fault either...when in fact he should just be a grown man and say yup sorry I made a choice and ****ed up! And before you say anything I think the allams could also do the same reason this gate and a lot of other things
Personally I detest the fact that we're becoming, more and more, a claim.com society, seemingly especially in the UK. I just watched a program about Brits claiming, many fraudulently, for funny tummy after they've been on holiday and getting compensation of £2k upwards. Thomas Cook stated that this is a UK phenomenon and that other European countries have nowhere near the same level of claims. It really pisses me off! I used to be involved in financial services, and fraudulent PPI claimants are my pet ****ing hate! One couple, after holiday in the Dominican Republic went a bit far, they attempted to claim £10k, Thomas Cook took them through the courts and the couple list, leaving them with a legal bill of £3.7k. Ha ****ing ha!
Everything, and I mean everything, is the fault of the Allams in our whiny Trust committee members world. It's his obsession, and you'd be as well not attempting to reason with him over it. Anyone with any sense would see it's the lads own fault, but that doesn't fit the agenda.
Tis a shame tbh. There really is far more actual things to complain about, and to cast blame about, but this nobhead climbing a gate is not one of them.
I know someone who tried to claim they fell in on holiday due to food poisioning (complete bollocks of course). However, anyone who filled a score card in when you leave holiday beware, they must keep them somewhere, because they dug their score card out, and they had rated the food as excellent, tour operator used it as evidence. That made me chuckle.
