Expected him to be a pretty good passer, but yeesh...he's played a half-dozen rather stunning balls in this one.
 
Looks a great all-round player. Very impressive on the ball but he also looks half decent defensively, managed to outmuscle a few Villa players in challenges today. Looks like every bit the player we hoped he would be!
 
No no no.....you don't understand. With our terrible defence we are going to get relegated, remember? We were never going to beat villa, remember? Adkins will be replaced, remember?

I wonder if this result will shut certain people up. I suspect not.
 
We are the first match to be shown on MOTD tonight.

Still can't get over that second half performance, we were incredible. We went from a league one team in the first half to a top 4 team in the second!

I wonder what our Nige said at half time, he looked pretty angry...

The fact he outmuscled Villa players must be the best part of all. We knew he had talent but he does look the complete article.

If there's been one thing we've lacked in attack, even last year, it's that final ball...we've had a tendency to get caught in congestion just outside the box, and I had some worries that it would be even more pronounced against better defenses. If Ramirez is the antidote to that, £12m is going to seem paltry.
