Any way, I'm still not totally convinced we'll sign him. I can still see it falling through at the last minute. And whilst that would obviously be gutting, and I hope isn't the case, it would at least be funny to see these posters looking like complete idiots with egg all over their faces (especially if it falls through because or you or Spurs re-enter race - two teams who, no mattter what any Saints fan says, our way bigger clubs right now than us).

No worries about the eejits, we are used to visitors like that. As for Ramirez, it does seem a bit strange that its not official yet as I thought it was a done deal. Looks like a decent player whoever ends he ends up with and would much rather see him with your lot than him being at spurs.

Your point seemed to be based on the fact that they would make a newly promoted clubs team because of their "honours" my point is that those team honours do not always mean a player is good.
