Top 6.join the club lol Many of us have gone from the skeptical side to believers this season (or since January anyway)
No player gets to play every game and you need competition for places to keep everyone on their toes. Unless Gaston wants a move (and haven't seen any sign of that) he has a place at our club. A quality player who needs to improve his sharpness in front of goal (and remember how much of the early season he missed). And i can't believe none of you have mentioned how adorable he is....call yourself football fans
Based on this season's performances, I would rather have the consistent reliability of S Davis playing in the hole over Gaston. I'm not convinced he's going to improve that much... Let's hope he proves me wrong.
Slow start? He scored inthe first game vs City I believe. He seemed to fit right in and looked at home in the premier league. Started losing his place to Gaston and JWP, neither of which I think have played as well this season.
Davis lost his place to Cork. It was only recently that MP decided to try him in the attacking midfield role, and it has worked out very well.
