i know i will get slated now for this but i want to know who was capslocktony as i will kick his ass for the grief he caused me you chris, me and pride was a great triple act on bbc606. my opinion of 1team, i could be wrong but i think 1team was APL 2011 who is now LPA 2012. we may have lost pirate49. it saddens me that this may be the case and the reason behind it angers me even more. not my place to give the reasons but lets just say something took its toll on him and it nearly did on me. i was very close in going as well.

earlier i sent him a PM saying the same thing. due to the situation, me and him bonded a bit. a close relative of his was not in a good way in hospital and was visiting this person up to twice a day. last thing he and me needed was what happened. and its pushed him over the edge and nearly me. thats why i was trying to pass the prediction leagues over as i wasnt going to be around. the day i was going to leave, pride came on and cheered me up which helped and ended up making me stay. glad i did as i feel committed as ever and really up for getting us growing
I just want to say P49 is a nice,educated guy,polite with an intellectual dry wit,sometimes on here it can be quite rough,my son was rushed to Frenchay a couple of days ago and it does make one feel very vunerable,this is the first mention I have made of this but I do it to try and say,"we all suffer when least expected",my son is back home with us now and we can try to take care of him,you lot,red and blue put a smile on my face and soul,that's why I am still here. I am not far off giving up any roll with this board (BCFC) and just posting as I used to,we all have feelings but I find I enjoy taking part..
hope your son is ok wiz worse when its your own kids. when you down, last thing you want is unnecessary abuse and threats your way. thankfully your well respected from both sides who wouldnt do that to you im trying to sort this board out for all of us existing gasheads and to get back fans who we have lost. and make it attractable to get new folk in as well. get this in order for when hopefully p49 returns.
I'm one of the irregual posters you are referering to on here - mainly because these days I only get to 2 or 3 games a season, and I probably havn't got too much to add, and I'm not a great "internetter" anyway. However, I normally look in a couple of times a week, find it useful to keep up to date with all things Rovers, and a connection with the great city of Bristol. So keep up the good work CJS, Chris-gas, all the other regular posters, even from the "wrong" side of town - it is appreciated. If you look at the number of posts / threads on other clubs, we've actually gto one of the more active boards on here.
i mean no disrespect mind with what i mentioned we have a lot of inactive members and i feel i let people down where i havent played a good enough part to keep people here. so im doing my best to make this place attractive for new members as well as anyone who was inactive in hope they pop on and see a difference and start enjoying the site again. thats the goal. i understand your circumstances but even though you dont get to games, that doesnt make you any less of a fan. i do go to games and i would class you my equal simply because we both gasheads. thats all that matters to me if your not a good internetter (nice word btw) thats ok, whenever you get chance to pop on, were here for you
full time job and kids and wife as well as fitting this in. i think we will get another mod soon to help out if we continue to grow. thanks for your kind words
i had cjs as an account on the OS but i got banned on that account for promoting not606. my new account that is my 1 and only existing account on the OS forum is uptherovers. never hid this fact. its a new name as i cant use cjs as i got banned on that name so wont let me register under that name. i dont have and never have had 2 accounts open at the same time on the same forum. getting boring wiz with that nonsense and its not even funny anymore. as for the well done, thank you . im trying. its not just for my benefit. its for everyones benefit including your boards benefit too as your heard via twentyman. since sunday when i made this thread, we have had 10 new members join and 87 - 97 members and some old faces have also re-appeared. hopefully you get the same impact we have had
