ah a verbal warning, most worrying. on the subject of motoring aj has just bought a maserati sports car, brigh red and it cost a few pennies. it was made in paris by french dinky toys and is 4" long. aj is off to test drive now.

chris make sure you beat oxford that is your passport to possibly reach the playoffs. in spite of buckle you are still in the mix mathematically

<laugh> no verbal warnings mate...in all seriousness I have never been told off for going on the internet, but I am perfectly capable of judging when I need to do some work, and when its ok to come on here ;)

AJ, I literally bought myself a new car last night, a Peugeot 207. Not a bad little runner so far <ok> I believe it is a tad bigger than yours though :)

good luck with the peugeot, mine does less to the gallon, as it runs on fresh air. yes a tad bigger, but size does not come into it as far as the tinpots are concerned

Ah of course, used to being small in all departments ay AJ? ;)

Tinpots did well against the mighty Gas, and deserved their win I suspect. But the Gas will bounce back and walk this league in no time <cheers>

oh i am sure you are right. i think you will not find the tinpots wanting in the right departments. gas were lucky they caught our strikers firing on on 3 cylinders last night. i suspect barnet and swindon may not be so lucky as we walk this league

AJ, Collin in the village recommended Siku toys for my little 2yr old boy. He got a great small scale tractor (1:72) for christmas and a car mat for playng on. Why do manufacturers of car mats think that the parking spaces should be really small and the lanes really narrow? I've heard a few mention this before I'd bought one!

never actually had a playmat and i do not fancy one now for my collection of vintage sports cars. i like to see them lined up le mans style, and imagine stirling ,mike hawthorn, billy cotton etc ready to do a racing start. i did have some siku tractors recently, but sold them on. it sounds as though chris needs a playmat for his secret evening activities
