THE ROAR

Shocked when i heared the news ,as only just saw him on the highlights on MOTD yesterday evening . Always seemed to me to come across as the ultimate professional on and off the field of play and no doubt had the respect of his fellow professionals and conducted himself well in interviews and a likeable guy, sad loss ,one of the nice guys of football , RIP.

Suicide is devastating for those left behind, having a family member and 2 good friends go this way in the past i know how his friends and family will be feeling.
Knowing 2 others who have attempted suicide and what they told me of how they felt afterwards, all i know is Depression is a awful illness.
RIP Gary Speed<peacedove>

really Sad! would never seem that coming after the football focus on Saturday morning! he seemed genuinely pumped up about the future for welsh football and where he wanted to go with it! so Shocked me to see that news line on sunday,

He was a great footballer, a professional, gave 100 percent for everyone he played for and looked like a promising manager too!

The thing that saddens me the most (and i say this with a no knowledge of his reason why) his actions have left 2 young boys without the dad they need!

RIP Speedo

I reitterate the comments on here also.

Very sad news of the death of a "decent" professional.

What a waste..........
