    Apparently the police report says he was found hanging in his house. Such a tragedy.

    I am so sorry to hear this news. He was a great player for Leeds Utd, and a real favourite I am sure. A young vibrant life gone. RIP Gary, and condolences to his family and friends. <peacedove>

    BBC News stating that it appears he may have committed suicide. Utterly shocked. RIP

    This is such tragic news. A truly excellent professional, always gave his all, doing a great job with Wales!!! What could have been the massive factors in his life for him to end it all? So,so sad. Rest in peace Gary.

    Was such a shocking thing to hear on the radio this lunchtime especially when the circumstances were reported. He was on Football Focus yesterday morning and there was no hint of anything being wrong. Just goes to show that the public face of people can hide anything. Thoughts with his family, is a truely horrible time for them.
