His work for Pulis is encouraging. Chief Scout at West Brom, but some time ago. An international recruitment scout must be worthwhile. Could be positive.

I think it was probably more tongue in cheek rtid. Aimed at those who criticized Ramsey SLF and possibly JFH ( I'm not quite sure ) who were accused of doing the same. I think it is endemic in football but I don't think there are any serious undertones. Well I hope not anyway. If you've worked with someone in the past and they do a good job and you have a good relationship you'll stick with what and who you know. Just like Mark Hughes and the Taffia for instance.
