I love Gary Neville on Sky as a pundit. Its such a nice change to see a pundit that knows the game and speaks sense. I can't stand watching football on anything other than SKY to be honest. The Mark Lawrenson ruins any BBC game, ITV have that moody bastard Keane and ESPN have Waddle lol Who is there version of Lawrenson! lol Pundits aside... The HD quality on Sky Sports is vastly superior too.
I actually like a bit of bias to a team a pundit has played for - it's more like listening to your mates talking then. Biggest culprit surely is Phil Thompson - Liverpool = "we" when he mentions them, but I like that. Stop pretending you're not a fan.
I'm always impressed how Neville, a self confessed scouse hater, manages to be positive when he talk about Liverpool. I think all that Pro-Manc nonsense he came out with as a player was mostly bullshit... hes actually a nice guy.
