Gary Mabbutt today received an Honorary Doctorate in Health for his efforts in Diabetes charities and campaigns at the university of Bath.
Since his retirement from football he has massively raised awareness of Diabetes through campaigning with Diabetes UK.

Saw his last game for us over at the Vetch one Tuesday night, Tommy Smith almost cut him in two !! Great player for Rovers though as was his Dad, was sorry to see him leave.
