I can see saggy chops have put a 4.5 million bid for him...... surely Newcastle could look at him, perfect foil for cisse.... preferred to bent all day long!.... thoughts!

I wouldn't mind him as an option but I'm not sure how him and Cisse would work. They both like to the guy on the end of everything putting the ball in the net. As straight out competition for him though as Bent would be, then yes I'd prefer him.
A valid point, id like to think the partnership could be a shearer/Ferdinand one... here's wishing!..... plus he knows the offside rule from what I seen of him ;-)
Don't rate him, never have. He also plays in a **** league against even ****ter teams. Oh and before someone says 'Well Larsson played in the SPL...' he played when the league at least was competitive and that Celtic team was good. Hooper isn't Larsson and never ****ing will be either
