They are tight with money, it was probably £4m, 4.2m, 4.3m, 4.4m. They could make 20 bid and be nowhere near what hes worth.
I'm in business and every day I see mugs parted from their money because they are just too keen to do the deal. Splashing the cash is a high risk game in any sphere, not least the world of football.Buy out clauses are deliberately set at a level well above real values. If clubs trigger them then at least you can laugh all the way to the bank.
Is there anyone you QPR fans dont want your club to buy?? You will all be crying when you go into administation in a couple of seasons, you mugs!! #QPRmeetPompey
To be honest I would call it a day with Becchio.Against the Spuds last night we demonstrated that we have enough to stay up,we only need nine more points from fourteen games.Transfer window panic buys are not the way forward and the majority of Hoops fans seem to see that. 'arry is a bit of a blunt instrument in the transfer market.
Just pondering those mega contracts being signed in Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Cromer and Saffron Walden on an hourly basis. Buy out clauses are negotiated by agents - many are very high, but others - Ba, that bloke at West Ham - aren't. Samba may have had one which reflected his uncertainty over staying in Russia. My impression is that he only went there because Blackburn refused to sell him to an English club. Norwich's ambition and power in the market is defined by their wage structure, which is in turn defined by how much the owners/shareholders are prepared to invest in the club. The result is very sensible for Norwich. We are in a slightly different position. See you Saturday.
That's all fine and dandy unless TF walks. What happens if you go down and he walks? Well you only need to look at Pompey for the answer.
Glad you agree with my perspective. If TF walks - we have no external debt. We sell the players on salaries the new owners can't afford. But it's not going to be a problem. Norwich far more likely to be relegated than us this year. Lets talk again in May.
Maybe norwich are themselves on road to be a new "pompey"......delia have stretch her wallett a maybe little bit too much?
