As for the signing of Park Chu Young as a replacement to Nicklas Bendtner, in purely business terms it appears to be a good deal. Chu Young rumored to be offered £40,000 a week, Bendtner on £55,000 a week. Plus Bendtner will be sold at a fee to balance out the Park Chu Young fee, perhaps even generate more cash.

On future signings, surely Wenger should exploit the rather vulnerable financial situation of Everton.

Am I the only one who thinks we can do better? That's not even one in 3 in the French league. We have the money so why not make a statement of intent and ambition. I guarantee this guy wouldn't get near Chelsea, Or the Manc sides. On paper I'm hugely unimpressed.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. A South Korean striker coming from an average team with an ok games to goal ratio. The last time i checked we were Arsenal and not a second rate team......We have over £60m in the bank and we are scraping the barrel with £6m strikers? Where the f*** is the money going!?!?!??!

i've heard, from youngguns, a very reliable source, that the £10m figure is wrong and it's actually around £3m.

plus, he scored 10 goals in a team that got relegated, meaning he got VERY little service. to do that you have to be very good and efficient with your chances. name one striker that played for a relegation team and scored THAT many goals.
