Howson is a far more complete player now than when at Leeds or in his short spell here under Lambert. Nothing to do with CH of course, who we are told turns every silk purse into a sow's ear. A great part of JH's development is having learned how to combine essential defensive duties with attacking from midfield. I don't believe he was ever instructed not to go forward (as Suffolk and others keep suggesting); it simply takes time for a player to develop confidence in his own judgement about when to go and when to stay back (JH said as much himself at the end of last season).
Back to the OP that is a pretty top-heavy team he has going on there. Would love to see Garth try and manage an actual football team, there certainly would be lots of goals!
Snodgrass is a disgrace. His behaviour when challenged by one of the West Ham players was cheating, trying to get a fellow professional sent off for violent conduct.
Except he was stamped on! Look at the pictures of his nose he put on twitter before you jump to conclusions your prick!
I think he had a rough time Snoddy, seemed like everyone was looking to take him out, I remember the stamping incident, but wasn't there a high tackle?, wasn't that where the nose damage was done?
And if you saw him interviewed afterwards, with a nose the size of the Avon bridge, having been kicked full in the face, two weeks after being knocked unconscious ....... well no, you clearly didn't
And the award for the most ill informed and idiotic post of the year goes to........................................Matter of Time! Well done! You have made a complete arse out of yourself! https://twitter.com/robsnodgrass7/status/399478033616076800/photo/1
From the BBC - Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass believes Saturday's 3-1 win over West Ham could spark a repeat of last season's unbeaten run. The Canaries went 10 games without defeat between the end of October and mid-December in the 2012-13 campaign. "It was this time last year, against Arsenal, that was a turning point in our season," Scotland international Snodgrass told BBC Radio Norfolk. the proverbial kiss of death?!
I've got eyes. There was NO contact judging by the 10 or so replays I saw. As for the Twitter pic, he could have banged his nose against the dressing room door.
Oh yeh, just before the post match interview, what a muppet. Making excuses for your teams dirty play is beyond low.
He had to go off the pitch to change his shirt because there was blood on it. Unless you're suggesting he has the ability to spurt blood out of his nose whenever he please, I think you might need to sling your hook!
Clearly Snodds had been planning this masterful ruse long before he got kicked in the face by a west ham player!
I think his nose explosion was from a high tackle and I can remember him rolling around for no reason and thinking get up you cheating prick, I think he does tend to overreact!!
I thought he was play acting to, but in the interview he clearly had a cut on his nose which was swollen. Don't be naive and think he did it in the dressing room or something, it's there for everyone to see.
Don't seem to recall ppl bitching when Holt behaved in a similar fashion, well other than our Suffolk friends of course. I don't like it but other teams will do it to us week in week out so what choice are we left with Sent from my Sony Xperia Z1
I agree that snoddy, shall we say, embelishes tackles and it can annoy me but it really feels he is picking up the slack left by Holt. However, in the west ham match he was being kicked all over the park and when Rat was stood over him, I don't think he stood on his head but he had already pushed him to the floor and was having a little dig. Snods head has taken a beating lately!
