No you didn't, somebody suggested it and you reluctantly agreed.

Now about this evidence of the 'penalty incident' Managed to find any trace a clip or image yet?

Let's get a few things straight, I don't say you said it, i said that was your attitude. Also as for being a regular top four team before Roman came that's pure bollocks. You made it into the top four three times in 10 previous seasons before Roman came on board. As an aside, in your 98 yr history before Roman came on board you won 13 major titles/cups. In the 11 years since Roman has been in control you have won 13 major titles/cups. Success bought and paid for I believe...

To be fair to Ossie, the JOS tackle did look like a rugby spear tackle as the commentator said on sky during the game.

We could easily have conceded a penalty for that.

There again, Costa really should have seen red.

O'Shea was lucky to be fair Bri, he pretty much speared Cahill on that corner and Terry was also wrestled to the floor. The only reason I agree with this, is because the same thing happened to Chelsea at Old Trafford, and every neutral across the country was saying Chelsea were very unlucky to not get a penalty for it.

These aren't given more often than not though, so I don't really think they've that much to complain about.

That was the only way Chelsea were gonna score though, with a penalty. It surprised me that Mourinho didn't have a plan B, it was just everything down the middle, it seems Poyet's a right thorn in his side lately!

To be fair, the media are always going to sensationalise, especially when its a player from one of the leading clubs.

There was never 2 red cards in there. Maybe 2 yellows i.e one red.

Yeah we seemed a bit raggy. Didn't help playing the same 11 for 3 games in a week. Sunderland just looked a little fresher in the final stages than we did and defended in numbers. You'll always get games like that. Sunderland won't defend that resolutely every week and we won't be that average every week. The ref gives one of those pens and it's an entirely different game as well potentially (as it is if Costa is sent off).

He's just putting him in his back pocket with the rest of the Chelsea attack.

Or helping him perform a diving header! Apart from this photo I havnt seen the incidents regarding the jostling in the box. In an ideal world I think that more penalties should be given. However more often than not it is a case of six and two threes. If a referee sees a defender pulling a forward back, gives a penalty then replays show that the attacker was in fact pulling at the defender as well then the referee is creating controversy for himself by making a decision. I think its just easier for the referee to just ignore it, unfortunately. The only way to stop it is to force the players to stand still until the corner or free kick is taken, although I don't think that would work!

Any evidence for this? This lad has been trying to pass the incident off as the one on the half way line. There's no mention of this penalty appeal anywhere I've looked. I've never said it didn't happen. Just need to see it to pass judgement. It's lack of coverage can only tell me it's a non incident.

Right, thank you fella. Something to actually go on.

Right, that's Cahill, not Costa, he said costa. Also, there's hands on each other, from that image cahill clearly has his arm over oshea's shoulder and O'shea has his arm round Cahill's waist, it's not conclusive. nowt init from that image at all, need to see it in video form as that clearly shows there's contact from both. If they're wrestling with each other you know yourself it's no penalty.

Still waiting for this penalty on costa he's spoke so much about.

Sorry to disagree mate but I saw it. Didn't think it was Costa though. JOS literally threw the lad sideways as he headed the ball over the bar. Slow-mo showed the ref in full view but not give it.

This man-handling in the penalty box is getting ridiculous though. And no teams are not not doing it!

You can barely touch a player outside the box without the ref giving a soft free-kick, but in the penalty box, its Saturday Afternoon Wrestling with Ken Walton all over again!

That's the way it is. Might be wrong, need to see that incident properly. That picture tells us nothing as they're clearly all over each other. The lack of coverage leads to believe it's exactly as you say. In which case they're just never given.

100% penalty mate, no doubt about it. Whether Cahill was touching O'Shea or not it wasn't a case of 6 of one, half a dozen of another. Cahill was getting that ball and O'Shea fought him to the deck, pretty much the exact same that happened at Old Trafford.

It was risky, but we see them not given every week. No big deal.

You seen a vid like? Post it please. This is what I've been waiting for.

I'll except if the case, no problem. I agree those sort of incidents should be penalised, but, and this is very a very big but, only when it's consistently penalised across the board, which it's isn't so even if it was a foul, it should not be give due to the lack of consistency. You can't be singling out individual clubs while letting it go for the rest. It's why Mark Hughes was right to be pissed off when Shawcross was sent off. Consistency mate.
