I dont know the answer to that. It may also be the most inspired decision made by the club in the last 10 yrs. <ok>

    Time will tell though.

Gomis was a panic buy in that Jenkins was whinging about spending big then gets Gomis on huge wages to prop up the "Manager " in the who we can "attract "department .Bony and Michu are probably gone in days , throw in that Pablo , Poz and Vorm are probably gone we better be getting a couple more gem like buys to fill in .

Laudrup was paid up. no bonus no money for Monk saving us nothing...He never even had the guts to take the swans to court because he knew jinks would run rings around him. He got what we thought he was owed and he ran away with his tail between his legs.....we were very happy with the settlement and im afraid useless never got anything near what he wanted....happy days...<ok>

Why would he need to take him to court if he was paid up. Am I missing something here.

Laudrup goes to Huw and says " how bout Gomis " . Huw looks at Laudrup like a fool and says " and pay those kind of wages Michael , what is the matter with you .

Dai, As I say, I have no issue with GM but he got his man due to the fact that we gave him more money than Newcastle. If they had offered him more he would have been there. But, If Gomis fails it will be on GM head.

He threatened to take us to court for £4.5 payoff plus another £1m because we stayed up. Jinx basically said **** off and to take it to the courts....we waited and waited and waited for months until he had to come back to us and accept our terms and off the toe rag went having a last dig saying he wont manage a small club again and only wants a big club....Well he has certainly got his big club <laugh> The man was a nightmare at the club and his ego showed no bounds until he came up against the mighty jinx who sent him packing with his tail between his legs and his ego badly damaged <laugh>

Well lets hope as you say 'The Mighty Jinx' steps up to the mark when another of our ex managers comes calling with an undervalue offer for our players.

Right, you've made a statement now back it up with facts. You haven't said this is an opinion, or hearsay, you have presented it as a statement of fact. If you can't produce the evidence of what you have said, it is quite clearly libelous - not that I think Michael Laudrup would bother with the likes of you for one second.

But just for the record (and our enlightenment) I'm politely asking you to show concrete proof of what you've written - not more opinion but fact. If you can't, or refuse to do so, would you kindly shut the f**k up and disappear back into that hole you came from.

Part of the deal Laudrup made with Jenkins was that Laudrup couldn't reveal ANY details or go public with ANY stories regarding the time he spent managing Swansea. I would believe the Swansea board are happier not going to court than Laudrup.
    They bought his silence!

Im with Roof, wouldn't be holding your breath, we all know Dai talks ****, and if questioned to provide proof, or any other questions, gets all uppity about his love of the swans and how you will never be as much a fan, yet never provides anything to answer the question, why, because he can't. Never has and never will be able too.

I'm not supporting Daiswan for a second but I was told recently that speculation (in other words coming to unfounded conclusions based on unfounded facts) was "part of the fun" of this forum and I get that even though I tend to think it's a rather fruitless exercise because none of us know the inseide workings of the Club.

Now Daiswan is being asked to support his post (a post that is mainly his opinion on recent events based on newspaper reports) with "evidence". Bit of a sea change, that. Look, it's a forum. People post unfounded opinions as fact all the time and we've seen a hell of a lot of it here recently. That's just the way it is, apparently. You can't have it both ways. <ok>

Come on, Dragon, there's no comparison and you know it. The speculation previously referred to involved all sorts of innocuous things such as players coming and going; where we might finish in the league and so on.

This character hasn't speculated on this issue neither has he said it's an opinion. He's written it as a statement of fact, as is his wont. If someone writes something like that, on what is clearly a sensitive issue, people have a right to know where such information is derived. Had he said it was his opinion then it could be accepted as such. Trouble is, he has a track record for doing this kind of thing and he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it and he's been doing it for as long as I've been posting on the 606 forums.
