    im not to sure was it because he was at grimsby when they sold mendonca to us???

    Mendonca joined us in 1997.

    Birtles left Grimsby in 1991 and went on to be a Kn*b

    how true i knew he was with grimsby must have known their chairman at the time i reckon

    I didn't know he was at Grimsby so you have taught me something. I only knew of his Forest days.
