...I didn't realise I was so obvious at the pub the other day :)

I'm only low-carbing for my Holiday on Friday. Once in Greece, I'll be eating all the grease :)

So will I. Today I'm eating that goose sized amount of it. Better start getting that sorted. Cheers.

Hate to get back on topic:oops: I note some on Saintsweb think Rodgers may have been pushed....mainly because his next job hasn't been mentioned Think that's unlikely as the timing is strange. Suspect he felt ready for a move and, with the change in ownership in the offing, decided to take a job offer. Not that unusual for top management to be headhunted. If we hear that he's drawing the dole, we'll know differently.

Also at his level he may have clauses in his contract to not work immediately for someone else etc - though that normally applies to rivals.

Incidentally, the goose has been in the oven for half an hour!

    Don't say I don't keep you posted. ;)

My goodness, there's an impressive amount of fat that boils out of a goose. Before I put the thing in the oven I cut off two very fatty flaps that seal up the egg laying department [I believe that's what they do]. Then I put the goose in. About an hour ago I took it out of the oven to empty the pan and baste the bird. Wow, probably half a pint came off it then. Just slowly fried off those fatty bits bits and another load came out of them.

This is what keeps those buggers afloat. ;)

The clue is that goose fat is used to roast potatoes.
