Had an offer of £65k per week from the Spammers apparently. Plenty of interest from others as well.

I hope he stays, but I fear greed may take over.....
 
Well if he wants £65k a week and to struggle near the lower end of the table then good luck to Gareth. However after his years of milking City I personally feel he will go for teh place he will enjoy his football the most/have the greatest challenge. Where that may be in the end is hard to say, but he was a key member of the side here and i can't see that changing next season either. Unless a club comes and offers CL football then I would guess we are in pole position.

But I have been known to be wrong, I did predict Lundstram to make the first team squad this year

I hope you're right. We're the best offer he'll get in terms of level combined with automatic first choice, plus I heard he'd ideally like to stay in the North West

From what I've seen of Lundstram he's not good enough for the PL yet

Watched him on loan last season and thought he would make the step up, he has gone out on loan and still not done enough. He will make a fine Championship player IMO, but I have been known to be wrong.

Would be nice to be able to rotate Barry, Gibson and McCarthy with the games we have in addition to the league. these three can be a benchmark for player such as Lundstram and Ledson (he may well be 'the one')
 
Ledson is a fine prospect and we may well see him at some point next season
