Lopetegui supposedly isn't a fan of Bale, although that is only based on a quote he made a few years back about how Bale wouldn't make one of his sides as he felt he never gave 100%.
Wouldn't surprise me if Bale did leave though, get the feeling Lopetegui has been charged of having a squad overhaul to bring in a few new galacticos.
I’m sure Loptegui will try. How successful he’ll be, I’m not so sure, Hazard is his only realistic target and Barca May well provide competition there.
For me, I could be proved wrong, but I don’t see Bale going in this window. Not so soon after Ronaldo going and with no replacements on the horizon.

The only Marquee or Galactico signings there are Mbappe, Neymar, Hazard. And maybe Dybala. SMS i wouldn’t consider in that class yet.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens. If they do choose to sell Bale, along with the likely departure of Kovacic, they could have around £200m to spend just from player sales alone, let alone the money they already have set aside for transfers (which is probably another £200m knowing Real).
This *could* be one of those galactico summers. As Tel said, there’s a potential list of huge star players they could go after.
But they have a reputation for Galacticos. Players like Aguero, Lewandowski, Eriksen don’t fit into the category, as good as they all are.
