Yeah a few gooners I know said it was stupid of Wilshere to do.
That's the main rumour, though it's also possible that it's more than one player. That would explain certain inconsistencies in his stories.

Not exactly, winning that game would have meant losing out on head to head record.
Was watching Ronaldo and it seemed he didn't trust himself to extend fully and sprint? Might be wrong but he looked a bit injured.
