Well is it worth running my simplified version first, seeing how people take to it, and then if it goes down well, add in more roles and try Iceman's version? What do people think?
Yeah we can do that DH. I was going to suggest the simplified version to start with anyway as it can be quite daunting. As long as people are active it's always pretty fun.
Does anyone else on the forum want to play an F1 themed game, very straight-forward to play, and I think its a fun game as well! If so either PM me or post on the not606 F1 World Championship round 3 (or 4 as it might be)
Does anyone fancy running another round of Mafia? Or would people rather let Paco's game finish first?
I will get around to it but up until Sunday I will be pretty busy at work, then I'm off for Christmas until New Years Day. I will write up roles my F1 game in the mean time though.

I know we're through the midpoint of the off-season, but can I make a plea for the return of the old 1000 post quiz's of old? They were always good fun. For anyone joining more recently, basically the idea was that every time a user passed a 1000 post landmark, they had to produce an F1 quiz, which usually worked as a competition to see who could get the most answers the fastest. Invariably, ASC won, but that's not the point. With the sub-forum, I could see these working pretty well, and with more users, we'll probably get more quizzes too.

I was going to suggest this too. I probably don't have the time to run it right now, but if someone else wants to, I'll be around to help if needed. Firstly though, big thanks to Paco for his game, I had my doubts when he suggested it, but it worked really, really well, and was far closer than I expected! I'd definitely be up for repeating that some time this year, might be a good one for the mid-season break.
My Mafia game is pretty much ready to run just let me sort some things out and I will probably put sign-ups later today and look to start it around Friday.
Agreed, I think the championship is one of the best games this forum has ever had. Simple enough formula, but Paco made it work beautifully, so thanks to him for all his hard work As for the mafia game, I'd be willing to set it up unless everyone would rather try Iceman's version. Australian timezones vs British ones might make it a bit difficult but I could work around that. I tell you what though, these forum games are making this off-season go pretty quickly! EDIT: Dilemma solved!
