There is a brilliant butchers on a farm that produces the best bacon and pork ribs i have ever tasted.
There is a whiff sometimes what is that?

Westlake - the reason we didn't take the game to you when we went 2-1 up was that we didn't have to.

In my book - and I've said this loads of bloody times on our forum - that has often been a big, big mistake on our part for ages now. We tend to sit back and let teams come on to us.

As it happens, we popped the 3rd one in and saw the game out comfortably - far more comfortably than against Forest last Saturday.

I know exactly what you mean! had many nip up moments in my younger days on the haughley bends.

I totalled my Ford Granada taking those bad boys too fast one night! Thankfully I walked away with a few minor cuts and bruises but the Company Car didn't fare too well. I had only had the thing a couple of weeks!

Hello,
Good effort for the hardy few hundred to travel such a long way midweek.

Thought our Ipswich home jinx would continue after Murphy's wonder strike (reminded me of the Bullard and Walters goals into the same net in past few seasons) but our new manager sorted out the midfield imbalance.

Johnny Williams has great feet but he has to take responsibility for allowing Whittingham so much room to pick his spot.

2 scruffy goals granted but surprisingly there was no late onslaught as we home fans expect from every away team near the end.

I had a neighbor back in the seventies who drove a brown metallic one with tan vinyl roof and his name was Jack Regan(Honest -you couldn't have made it up!)

Well, let's say we've had a 'good start'. In that case - based on our average so far we are heading for 70 points likely to be just outside the play off zone.

So, to get into the play off zone we need to improve on what we've done already. If we are heading for the top two and finish on, say, 90 points, there would need to be a dramatic improvement.

I think it's fair to say for this season to be an improvement on last we need to actually be competing in the play offs.

So, my opinion is that we are better than we were under Keane or Jewell but that doesn't really say a lot does it? The ship is steadied but can McCarthy really take us forward? I have my doubts.

Talk about stating the obvious "to get into the playoff zone we need to improve on what we've done already", we're outside the playoffs so yes.

We have definitely improved on last season, we look far more dynamic than we did last year and I think in most positions we have a bit more strength in depth plus a chance to change it up a little.

If you were to do your little calculation 2 games ago when we were a couple of points off top I reckon you results might be slightly different.....<doh>

My dad had a matalic blue Capri as a kid loved it .
He parked it on a hill in Mile end rd Colchester and it rolled down smashing into parked cars writing it off.<steam>

I did something similar 3 months after passing my driving test. I got pulled over on a hill for speeding. The rozzer asked me to "accompany him" to his car and I as I got out of my own car forgot to put the handbrake on and rolled back into the police car. The rozzer was surprisingly calm about it all.
