Imo. the only reason to play a weaker team against 'pool would be to avoid injuries before Wembley 'cause I'm sure they're well capable of playing both games full throttle.

Michu might need a rest since he got a knock against QPR but other than that we should field the best we got.

The interesting question is if we should lay deep and counter as against Everton, Chelsea etc. or go full offensive and pressure them high up the pitch. I'll go for the latter since 'pool will probably try the same and that leaves a lot of space between the lines which suits us perfect. On the other hand 'pool seems to have major problems against the deep lying counter teams.

I think we should try a 4-6-0 for this game and try to completely outpass them in the midfield and give pablo, Dyer and Routs freedom to cause havoc around them. Liverpool wont know what hit them yes. 'pools defence has been rather poor this season so facing a team with no genuine striker and three free roaming wingers is going to be too much for them. They organization is simply not on par to handle it.

    Rangel......Bartley.....Williams......Davies

    ..............Ki............Britton................

    Dyer......Guzman......Pablo......Routledge

If we play a weakened side then we might as well hand over the 3pts to them, you would not field a weakened side in a league game and its not as if we are playing a big side at wembley is it.....you dont play a weakened side say against stoke in the league just because we play chelsea in the next game.....There is absolutely no reason not to play our strongest side against liverpool to give us a chance of at least something from the game....

A strong team will be played and will be the best warm up before a cup final. Continuity is key.
It will be a tough game but Liverpools defence is pretty shakey at the moment and we can certainly get a goal there. Would take a point now but we've done well against big sides over the last few seasons and there's a good chance we can steal all three. 2-1 swans win.

yes 2-1 swans win for me...our defense is still awesome even without chico as we have monk or bartley. their midfield is not brilliant either and its sad to say joe allen is their weakness there in recent months, they do have however 3 players that are a danger to anyone and i dont mean the old hand in gerrard. they are playing good football but are going through a period of not scoring and i would love that to continue against us ....but i would not go into the game thinking like that as we all know that they have players to score some individual goals and we must be on top of our game to stop that...michu must play from the center behind the striker (hopefully moore) and we must use our wingers well and if we do then we can come away with the points, A lot of my friends are siding towards a 0-0 but i have a feeling there will be goals and the winner will win by just 1 goal....
