Sounds dead easy doesn't it, let's get a manger in on a week by week basis and if he wins something or is successful we give him a permanent contract. When asked how long he get's to "win something" or what is "successful" it get's hard to answer.
And there must be thousands of world-class managers just waiting to try out at Old Trafford for what - a fortnight shall we say. Who shall we start with ....... It's the same old crap - moaning like grannies about Ole, who obviously has his flaws, but none of them have the nuts to argue a case for anyone else, nobody will stand up and say why x, y or ZZ will be better, it's just a new name, as if that will cure everything.
They totally reject the idea that the players have many faults when we are bad but give them all the credit when we are good.
It's incredible we've got two vacuous idiots who really don't get what's being discussed. Or perhaps they do get it but because reasonable opinions are being put forward and neither are able to offer a reasonable argument against Zidane, they're both behaving like children. And yet one of them claims he wants a grown up conversation Let's try once more. I'll try and speak slowly. Zidane is currently available. Let me expand on that as this is a point which both of you are struggling with. Please read this slowly... he is not managing a club. Now, for the next bit - pause and take this in -----> It is the middle of a season. Next bit. Are you two still following? Let's hope so eh. He is indeed a proven manager at the highest level at another club. Now pay attention because that means something. What does it mean? It means that he is likely to want to go to a big club. Now for the next bit ---> ALL the big clubs' jobs are taken. Ergo... it is extremely unlikely he will be offered a job anywhere at a big club midway through the season. Suddenly Manchester United FC come calling and say "Hey Zidane... you may have heard of us. We're a great BIG club and we need a new manager. You're not doing anything right now and it's not like any of the other big clubs are available. How about you take over at United. See how it goes and we'll do the same. If you improve our performances, our results, and perhaps even win us a pot, we could look to make the position permanent at the end of the season. However, if it doesn't you'll have complete freedom to go to another big club depending on what's available." Why wouldn't Zidane consider this? It's a perfectly reasonable option for United to try. The only thing you two bozo's need to answer is whether you think Zidane could indeed improve performances, results, or even win maybe win a pot by the end of the season. Get it? I reckon a 10 year old could follow that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Let's see if Glazerfodder and his sidekick Diego can?
You forgot the bit though that he'll only accept a five year contract. Which no club anywhere will offer, so I guess he stays out of work.
Like ZZ's agent won't piss himself laughing at the prospect that Treble thinks you should audition for the job at OT. Stop taking drugs man, its affecting your judgement.
I put that in capitals on purpose in the hope that it can't be brushed aside and ignored, absorbed into other discussions. Let me make it simple, even for the kids on the forum - if you don't want Ole in charge of the team then give us all some insight into who you think is a better alternative and, importantly why. Is that so hard?
That's a no then? Anyone but Ole will do as an interim to prove himself at some as yet undefined point.
You either want a new manager or you don't, which is it? Tell me how long an interim gets to meet your criteria before being given a contract. Jose was quite successful and won things but wasn't good enough.
