Maybe we could have won it if Slug Trail didn't take so long at that throw in, did not have a clue what to do.
Slug Trail.. Free kicks ... abysmal Corners ... even worst passes ... most backwards and those forward were way off target Tackles ... none closest player was 20 yards in front by the time his brain got into gear
We did exactly the opposite to what I thought we needed to do int OP of the Fulham thoughts thread. We didn't play higher up the pitch - we allowed them to ping it about - we were shambles in getting the ball forward. We are such a slow team in the middle of the park that we pose little threat to opposition defences who have so much time to pick off our front men it's unbelievable. I thought the team Ole put out was a decent one for the task, but they played second fiddle to a very energetic Fulham side - only in the second half did we wake up.
You guys played better in the second half but you certainly gave us too much room to play in the first half. Ultimately a point was probably fair, although I think we are entitled to feel disappointed. We're very young and inexperienced, but hopefully we'll get stronger. Good luck for the rest of the season, except the return match.
On our first half performance, you should have won that at a canter pal - you were all over us. Second half was a different story and it could have gone either way, but you should have been out of sight at half time. Some nice stuff by your guys fair play.
Agree, I've heard that you are playing some good stuff but individual errors are hitting you hard, if you learn from them you'll be fine. We were better in the 2nd half but if I was a Fulham fan I would feel hard done by. A draw is not the end of the world and both teams can move on from that. Best wishes for the rest of the season, I've got a feeling you will not need good luck.
