from the short bits on the tv Sunderland do actually play some good football, if it is all joined up with the bits we don't see then they should not be where they are! 2 seasons ago I did a data base or might have been last season? Sheffwed were high flyers based simply on their ability to have the highest points haul from teams in bottom 14 when they played them! out of 84 points they managed 61 ....... from the 9 around them they did poorly .. 20 pts from 54.....
as an addendum to 1 FORS comment re Sunderland.... Rowett signed a new contract in January and since then has won 2 drawn 7 and lost 2 pre contract 1.9 pts per game season =? = 87 since 1.2 pts a game = 55 pts just avoiding relegation! Coleman gone from 11pts in 19 games ................... to " a season finish of 44 pts" in his 21 games
