Someone on B and A reckons that is 8 out of the last 9 FA Cup draws away. This is a potential embarrassment waiting to happen if you are a pessimist or a straightforward passage to the next round if you are an optimist. Looks to be a typical non-league ground and a club with an interesting history. I love the Cup games and will investigate the possibility of going assuming there is a decent away ticket allocation.

Gainsborough is a decent place. Lots of history. The ground is right in the town centre. Spent a pleasant Saturday morning there before the recent Scunthorpe match.

Sounds good KDS but the move to Sunday (2 p.m. kick off) means I will be struggling to make it as I have to attend a Remembrance Day Service on that day. I will check driving times but will probably have to give it a miss. It is shocking how TV companies get to dictate times like this (even for a match that is not actually live) and I reckon it will probably halve the away support compared to when it should be (3 p.m. on Saturday)

Just seen the video of the Gainsborough goals from previous rounds. They look to be pretty direct and Jarman has hit some cracking finishes but their defence seems to be very shaky - could be a high scoring game.
