Don't know anything about him but a central defender that played a lot of games for a team that got promoted from this league, will do for me.

Good solid defender Ciarrai - is prone to the odd cock up but we were a bit lax at the back in general at times last season. Sad to see him go but if he has gone so as to stay in London and get first team football then all the best to him.

From my watford mate re Tozser and Angella
    Morning, Beth!

Tozser left us at the end of last season, before we made any of our new 12 signings. He’s a classy midfielder, able to tackle, good dead-ball taker: our only worry last season was that he seemed too slow for the Championship. I don’t think he’s got a club at the moment (I seem to recall that he was on loan to Udinese from Parma), and so if you’re giving him a medical it looks like he’ll be your player soon.

I’d be a bit surprised if Angella left, though I suppose it’s possible he’d go to you on loan. He’s generally excellent at centre-back, again classy, can see a pass, too, and scored a wonderful backheeled volley from a corner once. Occasionally, though, when you think he’s defending his centre-forward well the other guy will get a run on him and you’ll suddenly concede. But I hope we keep him – one of our other new signings, Britos, who was bought as cover for our starting centre-backs, played his first game on Tuesday, following a suspension for headbutting in Italy, and got sent off on his debut.

But you’re right, we do have a problem in only being able to have 17 foreigners in our 25-man squad, and some old favourites will have to be shipped out – maybe on loan in the UK, but of course we could always just redeploy them to Udinese or Granada (in countries where they don’t have these restrictions and where the teams are consistently better than English ones …).

So both good...we will see soon

Not quite but has his moments. Was unlucky at Bournemouth but that put him in a minority of 46 central defenders at Dean Court last season

Oh how I look forward to the day when we can progress to being "a bit lax".

Lax is salmon in Swedish - salmon and trout is stout - stout is synonymous with sturdy - so, in other words: being sturdy at the back would make a welcome change.

Nothing like Montreal bagels & Lox, plus capers (not to confused with rat turds).

If you think your defence is bad you should come to Fulham.
It appears that the manager does not see we have a problem.
A couple of quality defenders are required before we play you,
or else we are in for a thrashing.

Not if we end up selling our best two forward players at the end of the window, with no players identified to replace them!! But we have 35 midfielders, so you won't get past the half way line.
