Now Llorente is a player I would LOVE over anyone else. Way out of our league though :(

The fact is they're not. The only consolation about Carroll's sale was that the price was massively inflated. If Tiote is £3.3m, Bendtner is...

Wouldn't want Bendtner, though I do think his view of himself could be a good thing. If he naffs up, he never thinks it's his fault..therefore he'll never be on a downer. He won't get affected by bad performances and will go into every game with a positive view on...everything.
Wouldn't mind Gabby if it came down to it, but that's just because I'm a personal fan of his.

But definitely agree with you on the unknown player thing! Bit of a gamble but if it's another Tiote (possible quite literally...) then it would be excellent.
Would still like a proven player though, as well as a gamble 'diamond in the rough'

I've always been a fan of the big, tall striker variety I think thats why I'm more inclined towards Bendtner, you make some good points though, whats the betting after all this talk Ashley decides that Ameobi, Best, Lovenkrands, Ranger and Kuqi are good enough for next season. Seriously wouldnt put it past him.

Young (23), relatively good strike rate for playing time he's had, best footballing education available (ie. Arsenal), wont be on huge wages, and isn't a total twat! When he changed squad number from 20-something to 52 he said any fans that had a shirt with his old number he would pay for them to get it with the proper number.

I would like him aswell actually if the price was reasonable. I reckon he'd become very good playing week in week out.
 
Not a fan of him personally. IMO we'll pay stupidly over the odds for any Prem striker (with the exception of the relegated ones) and with the a lot of them are pretty average to be honest. I know it's more of a risk, but i'd like someone to come in from abroad.

(also Gervinho looks way better than Gabby, and can play all over the shop too)
